On the weekend we usually run a fundraising community meeting place.  All are welcome to purchase refreshments and items from the BBQ.  We server excellent coffees with beans from The Village Coffee Roastery.  Our members enjoy learning how to make and server good coffee, tea and hot chocolates. In winter the "Shed Cafe" provides a cosy, warm and intimate environment.  In the warmer months we expand to the forecourt with tables and our marquee.

Local produce is available with jams, chutneys, pickles, sauces and olive oil.  Information about the history of Captains Flat is available as are two books: "Boom to bust and Back Again" and  "Riches beneath the Flat".
